Meet Gourmet Deli, 514 Central Ave, Bethpage at 9:30.
Ride will begin at 10.
The brewery does not open till noon so we're planning a slower, southern, route to try and get there a little after noon. There is a tour starting at 1 so if anyone would like to take the tour we should be there on time. The brewery offers free tasting, yes FREE, on whichever microbrew happens to be there that day. Usually there is an assortment of 10 or so. You get a 4 oz cup and just ask for the one you'd like to try. What is interesting is the chalkboard with the different information about each microbrew. For example, the Toasted Lager has 1.054 OG, 28 IBU’s, 5.5% ABV as the numbers. The bartender can explain it all to you. After an hour or two we can find a local pizzeria for a quick bite before calling it a day. Remember you can leave the ride at any time. If you do chose to stay and "sample" please do so responsibly. If you don't just keep your drunk ass away from the ride group home.
