Scootoberfest is on, it will be the same as last year.
Saturday BBQ, 50/50, things for the kids, etc etc and then we camp and wing-it from there.
Allen (Gadget) will do his best to reserve the same spots for us. Please RSVP to reserve a camping site.
Last year for anyone who camped over we picked up a few dozen bagels, juice, creamcheese etc for breakfast, went to the beach and did a BBQ back at my house and hung out there. Later that night we did another campfire and ordered a few pizzas. We don't have any set schedule or itinerary for anything after the BBQ and campfire on Saturday. Depending on how many people stay over, the weather, who has scooters etc etc, we (everyone who stays over) will decide if or what they want to do on Sunday.
Here's a link to last years scootoberfest.

In a nut shell...You'll need a tent (small pop-up type), a tarp to put under the tent, a sleeping bag, an air mattress or a pad to put under your sleeping bag helps, and some type of latern or flashlight. They have small LED laterns that work great.
We're not exactly roughing it and don't have to drink water from a stream or shit in the woods. There's bathrooms and showers right near our camping spot, soda machines and a luncheonette in the park that serves food and has camping supplies.
And if that ain't enough Silvio's house is like a mile from the park so if we need something we can go there and get it.
