“Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam”

Let’s go see where the Long Island Buffalo roam on our way out to the other end, Orient Point. Makoa Scooters will be leading a ride to the north fork’s furthest eastern point. On our way we will make a stop to observe some truly majestic creatures and hopefully some of their young. There will be stops for gas, bathroom, and food. Please bring along a snack in case lunch is late. This ride will be open to all scooters 400 cc and below. We will be taking the scenic side roads out. There are a number of alternate routes out to Orient Point. The size of the group may alter ride route. At times there may be a speed limit of 55 where you may have to ride on the shoulder and catch up with the group down the road. A support truck should be following the ride. Please arrive with a full tank of gas. There is a gas station ¼ mile east of the deli on Central Ave.

Meet 9 a.m. at the Gourmet Deli, 514 Central Ave, Bethpage, for breakfast. The deli is 1 mile away from Makoa Scooters. Ride will begin at 10 sharp.

We are changing the meeting spot because of the large group that is expected.

The meet up will be at the Makoa Scooter Shop 170 Engineer Drive in Hicksville.
AppleBees is a 2 minute walk away from Makoa for anyone looking for breakfast.
